Jamian Mosque The Jamian Mosque is located in Yecheng County, covering an area of approximately 4,000 square meters. It was first built during the Yarkand Sayyid Dynasty (1540 AD), and after two rounds of renovation and expansion in 1883 and 1953, it reached its current scale. The mosque can accommodate over a thousand worshippers on regular days, and during festivals, tens of thousands gather both inside and outside the mosque. This mosque is a county-level cultural heritage protection unit. Its grand architecture and exquisite craftsmanship embody the Uyghur architectural style and have considerable influence in the Kashgar region.
