Xitiya Mystery City Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Xitiya Mystery City is located in Luoke Township, Yecheng County, Xinjiang. In early 2011, commissioned by the Yecheng County Government, planning and design work for the Xitiya Ancient City attraction began. By April 2012, Yige Institute had taken over the full implementation of the ancient city attraction—from design and construction to operational planning. With on-site guidance from designers, the first phase of the Xitiya Ancient City construction was successfully completed in just nine months.

Through the dedicated efforts of Yige Institute, this ancient city of Xitiya, which had been buried for thousands of years, has finally emerged once again from the sands. The project artistically restored an earthen architectural complex with Persian charm that dates back a millennium, and through meticulous planning, allows visitors to travel through time and uncover mysteries across the ages, offering strong artistic and visual appeal. The replica ancient city lies adjacent to the original ruins, representing a high-level fusion of heritage and interpretation. It is Xinjiang’s first eco-friendly architectural complex reconstructed from raw earth materials, an important stop along the southern Silk Road cultural tourism route, and a classic showcase of ancient Western Regions civilization.

The completion of Xitiya has received high praise from local leaders and tourists alike, and has been extensively reported and commended by major media outlets including CCTV News Network, Xinjiang Television, and the Kashi region.
