Silk Road Museum
The Kashgar Silk Road Museum was built in 1992, with a construction area of 2,360 square meters. Its basic exhibition, “Historical Relics of the Silk Road in Xinjiang,” displays hundreds of cultural relics unearthed from various parts of Xinjiang, dating from the Stone Age, the Bronze Age, the Han and Tang dynasties, to the Kara-Khanid Khanate, bringing to life the glorious history of the Silk Road.
