Wolongshan, anciently known as Guanshan and also called Longshou Mountain, has an elevation of 1,958 meters and covers an area of 4.5 square kilometers. Its peaks and hills stand independently without connecting to each other, giving it a unique appearance. From a distance, the hills resemble a sleeping dragon. It is the highest point in the county town, and from its summit, one can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire urban area. The mountain valleys are home to a rich variety of tree species and dense vegetation that changes with the seasons, offering captivating scenery. It was one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Huaping" during the Ming and Qing dynasties, and the "Huaping County Annals of the Republican Era" recorded its renowned beauty under the title "Sunrise over Guanling."

To optimize the urban environment, the Jingyuan County Government plans to construct a large lake on Wolongshan, creating a beautiful urban setting where “the lake lies within the city and islands float within the lake.” At the same time, fully considering the outdoor leisure needs of Jingyuan residents, the plan will leverage the natural resources and superior environment of Wolongshan to build a suitable amount of ecological recreational facilities and develop a public leisure and recreation space themed around leisure and entertainment, targeting both local residents and some out-of-town visitors.
