Sancha River Grand Bridge
Introduction The magnificent and spectacular Qinghai-Tibet Railway Sancha River Grand Bridge stands on the northern side of the famous Yuzhu Mountain peak, located at the confluence of the Xiaonanchuan and Niubogou valleys on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is the highest bridge along the entire Qinghai-Tibet Railway. The bridge sits at an altitude of over 3,800 meters, has a total length of 690.19 meters, and its deck is 54.1 meters above the valley floor. It consists of 20 piers, 17 of which are circular thin-walled hollow piers, with the thinnest part of the top section of the pier walls being only 30 centimeters.
