Introduction Originating from the northern foothills of the Kunlun Mountains, it is divided into eastern and western branches. The western branch is called the Kunlun River; the eastern branch is called the Shuergan River, which is the main source of the Golmud River. The Qushui River originates from the Pokalaktag and Gangqian'cha Luma mountains in the Kunlun Mountain range, flows northward from the Kunlun River, splits after exiting the mountain pass through Golmud City, and flows into the Dongdabuxun Lake. It is a river replenished by snowmelt, springs, and rainfall. There is a “One-Step Precipice,” also known as “One-Line Sky,” on the river.
