Wen Shui Fen Ze Lake

"Fen Ze Lake," also known as "Shi Tai Lake" and historically referred to as "Zhao Yu Ze Sou," is located on the west bank of the Fen River in Liu Hulan Town, Wen Shui County, in the central Shanxi basin. It covers an area of 1,000 mu, with 800 mu of water surface. The lake features three curved islands, two peninsulas, and a 3,000-mu pear orchard to the southwest. Between the Sun Pond and Moon Pond to the north of the lake stand the Red Ze Temple and the River God Shrine respectively, while multiple fishing platforms and over ten fish ponds are situated along the lakeshore.

The lake is surrounded by a northern botanical garden, a museum of traditional northern farming tools, and traditional northern dwellings. Willow trees shade the area, and the lake water is clear and rippling. Several small wooden cabins have been built on the curved islands, and visitors can also enjoy rides on luxury cruise boats, speedboats, wooden boats, and bamboo rafts.
