Era: Neolithic Age, Northern Dynasties

Address: 1 km east of Pingshang Village, Sanjiao Town, Liulin County

The site is situated on a second-level terrace on the eastern bank of the Yellow River, with mountains to the east and gullies to the north and south. The terrain is relatively flat, roughly forming an irregular rectangle, higher in the east and lower in the west. It extends approximately 2,500 meters from north to south and about 800 meters from east to west, covering a total area of around 2 million square meters. The cultural layer is 0.5–1 meter thick, with ash pits and various types of artifacts exposed on the ground. In the eastern part of the site, there is a section of ruined wall that follows the undulating terrain in a north-south orientation, measuring about 2,500 meters in length, 5 meters in width, and 4 meters in height. The rammed layers are relatively distinct, formed using the board-ramming technique. The site can be roughly divided into periods from the late Longshan era to the Xia Dynasty, the Warring States Period, and the Han Dynasty. Artifacts include three-legged urns, bean-shaped handles, various plain red clay pottery fragments, cord-marked jars, roof tiles, cord-marked bricks, smooth gray clay pottery fragments, porcelain shards, animal heads, and tile ends.
