The Yunlin County Government has collaborated with MOOK Moleskine Publishing to gather over 160 insider tips on local eats, shopping, and entertainment, ensuring visitors have a delightful, delicious, and memorable Lunar New Year getaway. The Yunlin County Government also held a press conference for the new travel guidebook *Yunlin Golden Travel King*, where Magistrate Su Chih-fen led the promotion, showcasing all the best that Yunlin has to offer.

Yunlin Magistrate Su Chih-fen noted that Yunlin is often perceived as remote and underdeveloped, but in reality, it boasts fertile land and abundant agricultural specialties. Particularly, its rice, sweet potatoes, peanuts, and various vegetables rank first in Taiwan’s production. Other products like garlic, pickled vegetables, clams, Taiwanese tilapia, and Xiluo soy sauce also hold top positions. Yunlin is home to countless stunning attractions and an endless array of delicious snacks, all waiting for visitors to discover.
Tourism expert Yang Weiren, who delved deep into Yunlin, also mentioned that participating in this guidebook project allowed for a more profound exploration of the region. What left the deepest impression during the interviews wasn’t just the rich agricultural offerings, but the overwhelming warmth of the locals. On multiple occasions when lost in alleyways, locals kindly offered directions and even rallied friends to guide them to hidden gems. Beyond the picturesque scenery, "human kindness" is Yunlin’s most beautiful sight.
