The Huang'annaizhang Stone Scenic Area is located in Nanyan Village, Gaoluo Town, Xiyang County, serving as the watershed between Shanxi and Hebei provinces, at an elevation of 1,774 meters. The scenic area boasts a pleasant climate, lush green grass, majestic peaks, and rugged rocks.

Ascending to the top of Huang'annaizhang allows you to watch the sunrise, gaze at the sea of clouds, listen to the pine waves, and bathe in the Buddha’s halo. The area's Four Wonders — “Morning Officials Holding Tablets,” “Nine Maidens Peak,” “Layered Cliffs Hanging Bells,” and “Baoyu Peak” — stand majestically in a circle, surrounded by beautiful legends. The Four Perilous Spots — “Pear Tree Ridge,” “Sky-reaching Crevice,” “Yama’s Nose,” and “King’s Ladder” — are breathtakingly dramatic. The caves, including the White Dragon Cave, Yellow Dragon Cave, Mist Cave, Mother-and-Son Cave, Linked Caves, Rebel Army Granary, Immortal Cave, Thousand Sheep Cave, and Number One Scholar Cave, vary in shape and are fantastically enchanting. Natural rock formations such as the “Turtle Exploring the Sea,” “Monkey Praying to Buddha,” “Camel Rock,” “Fish Stone Painting Screen,” “Colorful Screen Stone,” “Mountain-Guarding Stone Lion,” “Eagle Guarding the Gate,” “Panda Worshiping the Mountain,” “Tuonan Stone,” and “Tuobei Stone” are strikingly lifelike and radiant with charm. It has now become a shining jewel among the tourist attractions of northern China.

Gaoluo Town: Gaoluo Town is located 70 li southeast of Xiyang, covering an area of 188 square kilometers. With an average elevation of 1,300 meters, it is surrounded by mountains and enjoys a cool climate. The main peak of Baiyang Mountain within the town reaches 1,884 meters above sea level, making it the highest peak in the county.

Name Origin It got its name because it was the territory of the Dongshan Gaoluoshi people during the Spring and Autumn Period.
