On Jianxin Street in the ancient city of Jianshui, there is a large complex of Qing Dynasty residential buildings, known as the "Dian Nan Grand View Garden" — Zhu Family Garden.

The Zhu Family Garden was a residence and ancestral temple built by the wealthy Zhu Weiqing brothers in the late Qing Dynasty. Construction began during the Guangxu era and took approximately 30 years, finally being completed in the Xuantong era. The complex spans over 20,000 square meters, with a built-up area of more than 5,000 square meters. The main buildings follow a "four rows longitudinally and three rows transversely" layout, representing a typical parallel-row connected residential architectural group in Jianshui. The houses are neatly arranged, with courtyards layered one after another, totaling 42 large and small patios. The entire architectural ensemble features steep ridges, flying eaves, carved beams, and painted rafters, all exquisitely refined and elegant. The courtyards and halls are logically laid out, creating a rich and ever-changing spatial landscape that forms a "maze-like" building complex. Solo travelers without a guide have been known to get lost shortly after entering, unsure of where they are or how to exit. The Zhu Family Garden has now become a well-developed, high-quality tourist attraction that integrates accommodation, sightseeing, tourism, and entertainment. It is refined in taste, culturally rich, and offers a profound cultural experience.
