The Seven-Colored Waterfall Cluster is located deep in an off-the-beaten-path mountain area of Niyu Village, Shangri-La County. This wonder is shaped by the Niyu River, a high-altitude glacial melt stream, and steep peaks.

Recently, survey authorities measured the site and found that the waterfall cluster is about 20 meters high and 330 meters wide, with over 40 waterfalls of varying widths cascading down from the plateau. Even more fascinating is the colorful deposit of minerals such as calcium carbonate, accumulated over thousands of years on the broad plateau.

At the Seven-Colored Waterfalls, watching the streams plunge down the pristine tundra truly makes you feel like you've entered a fairyland. The murmuring brook carries away the frothy restlessness in your heart, leaving you with all the joy of being in nature and the fortune of being there.
