The Children’s Day holiday is coming, and amusement parks and theme parks across Taiwan have introduced free admission offers for children in specific age groups. Here’s a roundup of free entry deals for the Children’s Day holiday at amusement parks nationwide to help you enjoy a fun-filled vacation.

Taipei City
On April 4, the Taipei Astronomical Museum and the Taipei Children's Amusement Park offer free admission for all children.

New Taipei City
1. From April 3 to 6, children under 12 visiting the Farglory Ocean Park can enter for free if accompanied by one adult who purchases a ticket on-site. Children enrolled in or registered as residents of New Taipei City can enter for free throughout April.

2. At the Neidong and Manyueyuan Forest Recreation Areas, children under 12 can enter for free from April 3 to 6.

3. Baxian Coast: During April, children under 12 with a 100-point exam report can enter for free (must be accompanied by one paying adult). During the Children’s holiday period (April 3–6), children under 100 cm can enter for free (with a cleaning fee of NT$200).

Taoyuan City
At the Dongyanshan Forest Recreation Area, children under 12 can enter for free from April 3 to 6.

Hsinchu County and City
1. Taipei Municipal Zoo offers free admission for children under 12 on April 4.

2. The Guanwu Forest Recreation Area allows children under 12 to enter for free from April 3 to 6.

Miaoli County
1. At the West Lake Resort, during the Children’s Day holiday, children under 6 years old or under 115 cm in height can enter for free when accompanied by a parent.

2. Shangri-La Amusement Park: During the Children’s Day holiday, children under 12 can enter for free when accompanied by a parent (must present valid ID), and parents enjoy discounted tickets at NT$360 (original prices: NT$280 for student tickets, NT$500 for full-price tickets).

Nantou County
1. Aowanda Forest Recreation Area allows children under 12 to enter for free from April 3 to 6.

2. In Xinyi Township’s Pinglai Valley, the “Glass Bridge of Light” offers free admission for elementary school-aged children during April.

3. Shanlinxi Forest Eco-Resort: Children under 12 can enter for free on Children’s Day.

4. Tayal Resort: During the Children’s Day holiday, children under 2 can enter for free when accompanied by one paying adult; those born in April can enter for free upon presenting proof of birthdate.

Taichung
From April 3 to 6, children under 12 can enter for free at the Dasyueshan, Baxianshan, and Hehuanshan National Forest Recreation Areas.

Chiayi County
From April 3 to April 6, children under 12 can enter Alishan Forest Recreation Area free of charge.

Tainan City
At Horse Ranch Farm on Children’s Day (April 3–6), children under 12 can enter for free but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and show proof of identity.

Kaohsiung City
1. From April 1 to 6, schoolchildren under 12 can visit Shoushan Zoo for free.
2. From April 3 to 6, children under 6 can visit the permanent exhibition halls of the National Science and Technology Museum for free.

Pingtung County
1. Little Kenting Resort: On Children’s Day, children under 12 staying with adults (minimum two people per booking) can stay for free (original price: NT$800 per person, includes breakfast).
2. Kenting and Shuangliu Forest Recreation Areas will allow children under 12 to enter for free from April 3 to 6.

Taitung County
Zhiben Forest Recreation Area will allow children under 12 to enter for free from April 3 to 6.

Hualien County
1. During the holiday period, Hualien Far Eastern Ocean Park offers free admission for children under 12 who are registered residents of Yilan, Hualien, or Taitung—each child must be accompanied by one adult (all must present ID).
2. Chilan Forest Recreation Area will allow children under 12 to enter for free from April 3 to 6.

Yilan County
From April 3 to 6, children under 12 can enter the Yilan Traditional Arts Center for free upon presenting valid ID.
