Cherry Blossom Valley is located in Shuangpo Village, Beihai Township, Tengchong.

It lies within the Gaoligong Mountain Nature Reserve, approximately 26 kilometers from the county town, and sits at an elevation between 1,450 and 1,850 meters. With an average annual temperature of 16°C, the scenic area encompasses the subtropical broad-leaved primeval forests of the Gaoligong Mountains, natural hot spring clusters, waterfalls in various shapes, streams, and unique geological landforms. Different plants grow at different altitudes—from alpine coniferous forests on the mountaintops to ferns and vines in the river valleys, including thousand-year-old broadleaf giants growing on rocks. It is a microcosm of the natural landscape of the Gaoligong Mountains.

Currently, the scenic area offers a range of tourist activities such as soaking in hot springs amidst the primeval forest, river-crossing zip-lining, high-altitude suspension bridges, drifting along the Longjiang River, rock climbing, rappelling, horse caravan rides, and giant swings. It also provides dining, accommodation, and other travel facilities, making it a comprehensive destination integrating sightseeing, tourism, and adventure.

Transportation

It is recommended to drive or hire a private car. A minivan that seats up to 7 people costs around 150 yuan. The journey from Tengchong County takes about 1.5 hours.
