(November 18, 2017, Tengchong) Today, the 2017 Tengchong International Marathon started at 9:00 AM sharp. With the professional support of leading domestic sports brand 361°, tens of thousands of running enthusiasts from across the country gathered in Tengchong, Yunnan. They set off from the Wenzhi Guangchang Square, passed through scenic spots such as the Heshun Ancient Town, Rehai Geothermal Area, Volcano Park, and Ginkgo Village, and reached the finish line at Wenxing Tower. On this stunning highland course, they fully expressed their passion for running, enjoyed the thrill and charm of the sport, and discovered more of their own extraordinary qualities through their love for it.
For the second consecutive year as the Diamond Partner of the Tengchong Marathon, 361° has continuously upgraded its professional sports equipment support and athlete care services. To help participants achieve better performance, on November 11 and 15, 361° organized Extraordinary Training Camps in Kunming and Tengchong respectively. Through on-site sharing of professional marathon running knowledge and techniques, participants were able to get into peak condition more quickly and engage in the sport in a more scientific and professional manner.
On race day, under the guidance of 361° running ambassador and national-level marathon athlete Guan Siyang, as well as Ma Liangwu, a runner over 50 years old known as the "Yunnan Wonder Runner" for his continued marathon participation, nearly 10,000 participants threw themselves wholeheartedly into the race, racing eagerly toward the finish line. Among them, the blue and pink-clad members of the 361° running team became a beautiful highlight on the marathon course. In addition, 361° also provided professional massage, relaxation, and energy replenishment services in its brand exhibition area, allowing participants to enjoy a higher level of racing experience. Interactive activities such as the finish line timing board, photo printers, and the Extraordinary Pinball Machine gave athletes the chance to express and share their passion, joy, and extraordinary experiences in real time. At the same time, these activities served as living testimonials to 361°’s brand philosophy: “Have passion, be extraordinary.” — breaking through limitations, self-doubt, and external judgments through passion. “Running the Tengchong Marathon for the second time was still a special experience. I felt that Tengchong was even more beautiful this year than last.
