White Pagoda Tourist Area

The White Pagoda Tourist Area covers an area of 50 acres, with the White Pagoda itself occupying 2 acres. The main pagoda has a diameter of 8 meters and a height of 23 meters, while the smaller pagodas have a diameter of 4 meters and a height of 12 meters. Line surveying began on September 8, 1991, road excavation started in January 1992, the road was opened in March 1995, construction commenced in May 1995, the project was completed in 1999, and the inauguration ceremony was held in April 2000. The total investment was 430,000 yuan, of which 160,000 yuan was subsidized by the state; the remaining 48 acres are used as a greening base. From near the White Pagoda, you can enjoy the beautiful mountain and water scenery of Banlao.

To the east, it borders the national-level Nangunhe Nature Reserve and faces Banhong Township across the river; to the north, it connects with Nanla Village of Mangka Town; and to the west and south, it borders the Wa State of Myanmar, with a border line stretching 41.65 kilometers, making it the township with the longest borderline in Cangyuan County.
