The Pillar of Guizhou is a cultural relic protection unit of Guizhou Province.

On a large rock slab by the ChaoDi Beach of the Wu River, 30 kilometers east of Dejiang County, four bold characters “The Pillar of Guizhou” are horizontally inscribed in intaglio. Above them is the inscription “Auspicious day, early spring, Jiashen Year,” and below is the signature “Written by Tian Qiu from Xilu,” both written vertically. A single-line rectangular border is carved around the text, forming a solemn plaque. The script is entirely in regular script—dignified and vigorous. This inscription of “The Pillar of Guizhou” is the only known surviving handwritten work by Tian Qiu. In early autumn 1980, it was designated as a county-level cultural relic protection unit. Then in mid-winter 1985, it was further listed as a provincial-level key cultural relic protection unit.

ChaoDi Community: In December 2007, following the unified arrangement of Dejiang County, ChaoDi Town merged the former Qinglongzui Neighborhood Committee, ChaoDi Village, Chenyuan Village, and Anba Village to form ChaoDi Community. It currently has one Community Party Branch Committee, with one Party Branch Secretary, two Deputy Secretaries, and two members; one Residents' Committee, with one Director, two Deputy Directors, and four members; and nine Resident Groups, each with a Group Leader.
