Longdong Flying Clouds (also known as Dalongqian): A county-level cultural heritage site. It is a natural karst cave, over 30 meters high and more than 40 meters wide, divided into upper, middle, and lower levels. The cavern is spacious, with large caves leading to smaller ones, twisting and deep in a mysterious way. The stream inside the cave is as clear as a mirror, winding through the depths. Its water is sweet and refreshing to drink. It is the source of the Yuxi River that flows through the city. The surrounding cave walls feature stone carvings from the Ming and Qing dynasties as well as the Republican era, with bold and powerful running script inscriptions such as “Dalongqian,” “Longdong Flying Clouds,” “Famous Cave of Central Guizhou,” “Tiger’s Roar and Dragon’s Cry,” and “Immortal Realm in the Human World.” It is a popular scenic spot for the people of Dejiang.
