Dongfo Temple. In December 1985, it was designated as a county-level key cultural relic protection unit by the county government. In 1949, as the collapse of the Nationalist regime was imminent, a group of over 200 bandits led by Zeng Guang'ai rampaged through the area, robbing indiscriminately. Even after the guerrilla forces liberated Dejiang, they continued their villainy and remained hostile to the people. In March 1950, after three days and nights of fierce fighting, the People's Liberation Army completely wiped out the bandits and captured their leader, Zeng Guang'ai. In 1984, to commemorate the martyrs who sacrificed their lives, the Dejiang County Party Committee and government engraved a stone inscription on the cliff at the cave entrance of Dongfo Temple, ensuring their memory would endure through the ages. The Dongfo Temple Cave Martyrs' Cemetery covers a total area of 1,500 square meters and houses the tombs of five anti-bandit heroes. Behind the cemetery lies the cave dwelling of the former bandit leader Zeng Guang'ai. Atop the mountain is a blue stone memorial stele, 6.2 meters high and 1.98 meters wide. The stele base consists of a two-tiered six-sided stone platform. The front side is inscribed with “Green hills cradle loyal bones, heroes live on through the ages,” while the south face features a brief account of the anti-bandit campaign.
