Former Site of the Red Third Army Hospital (1934. National Cultural Heritage Protection Unit)

The Revolutionary Committee of the Qiandong Special Region, the former site of the Red Third Army Hospital is located in Xinjie Group, Fengxi Village, Fengxiangxi Town, Dejiang County, and is now part of the “Fengxiangxi Meeting Site” heritage complex.

This site was originally the Heishen Temple in Fengxi Village, where the Red Army hospital was set up from June to October 1934. The front section served as the outpatient department and guard platoon, while the rear section housed the inpatient ward and medical staff quarters.

The original Heishen Temple was built during the Guangxu era, consisting of a main hall, rear hall, and other structures, covering a land area of 1,010 square meters with a built-up area of 600 square meters. It is relatively well-preserved today.
