Shengguo Bridge

Shengguo Bridge [Qing Dynasty] Also known as "Dongling Bridge." Located to the south of "Feiyun Cliff." Originally built during the Chongzhen era. It collapsed in the 60th year of the Qianlong reign (1795) and was rebuilt in the 4th year of the Jiaqing reign (1799). Oriented northeast to southwest, it spans the Xiushui Stream. This single-arch stone bridge is 12.2 meters long, 4.3 meters wide, with a clear span of 6.7 meters and a rise of 5.15 meters. The railings and balusters are adorned with bas-relief carvings of flowers and birds. (See *Bridges of Guizhou*, Guizhou Science and Technology Press, 2004 edition.)
