Dongfeng Lake Scenic Area

Dongfeng Lake Scenic Area is located at the junction of Qingzhen City, Qianxi County, and Zhijin County, 60 kilometers from downtown Qingzhen and 8.3 kilometers from Zhijindong Cave. With a water area of 19.7 square kilometers, it serves as the golden waterway to the scenic spot Zhijindong Cave. The lake boasts crystal-clear waters, with steep cliffs rising thousands of feet on both banks and a wealth of landscapes along its shores. It's hailed as the “hundred-mile painting on water” and is often praised as “not the Three Gorges, but surpassing the Three Gorges.” It is ideal for lake sightseeing, rock climbing, camping, geological science exploration, and adventure tourism.
