The 3rd Anniversary Celebration of Time-Hongzhou Cultural Tourism Town
It’s not easy to start something, but even harder to persevere. Time-Hongzhou Cultural Tourism Town has turned three years old today.
On August 18 and 19, 2017, Time-Hongzhou held a grand third anniversary celebration themed “Three Years of Deep Affection, You and I Are Truly Fortunate.” The event site was packed with enthusiastic visitors, drawing massive crowds, marking yet another milestone moment for the town.
As the only national AAAA-level scenic spot in Qingzhen City, Guiyang, Guizhou Province, China, Time-Hongzhou Cultural Tourism Town has seen its annual visitor numbers soar from zero to 5 million since its opening. It has also earned honors such as Guizhou Provincial Cultural Industry Demonstration Base, Outstanding Scenic Spot among Guizhou’s Top 100 Tourist Attractions, and the Guizhou [Five Famous Cards] Tourism Brand with Outstanding Public Influence. Committed to becoming a cultural tourism town integrating travel, vacation, leisure, accommodation, and entertainment, Time-Hongzhou blends the elegant charm of Shanghai-style architecture with the essence of traditional Ming and Qing Tunbao architecture. Connected by four lanes representing the military, commerce, officials, and civilians, it weaves together Guizhou’s historical and cultural heritage while infusing a touch of Shanghai-style lifestyle. It is Guiyang’s first leisure tourism-themed commercial district grounded in cultural heritage.
Now, having passed three years, what has faded are the time and memories, but what remains are the lessons and experience. To express gratitude for the long-standing support and love from visitors, Time-Hongzhou hosted a series of large-scale activities to celebrate its third anniversary. Amidst the enthusiastic atmosphere, both the free birthday cake giveaway and the original public welfare music concert were carried out with great enthusiasm.

Under the guidance of the brand's core concept of “reviving traditional Chinese culture,” the successful hosting of the 1st Cross-Strait Cultural and Creative Tourism Product Design Competition — “Art Across the Straits, Hand in Hand with Guizhou” — built a platform for exchange between young designers and artists from both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Through collaboration and mutual interaction, it comprehensively showcased Time-Hongzhou’s commitment to the development of cultural creativity. It also marked the town’s full support for the advancement of Guizhou’s tourism and cultural creative industries, while revitalizing traditional ethnic crafts and promoting the flourishing of ethnic culture.
