Qingbaijiang Phoenix Lake Wetland Park is an internationally-standardized tourist resort area, characterized by its ecological focus, leisure environment, water scenery, and multi-national architectural styles. It serves as another showcase of Qingbaijiang’s development to the world.

Qingbaijiang Phoenix Lake Wetland Park is planned to be developed into a National AAAA-level scenic area. In recent years, Qingbaijiang District has explicitly put forward the strategic goal of “building the district on ecology,” steadfastly pursuing a path that combines ecological conservation with industrial development. Major projects such as the “Green Lung Initiative,” the “Forest City Project,” and the “Longquan Mountain Range Vegetation Restoration Project” have achieved significant results: ambient air quality has reached the national second-class standard; urban green coverage has jumped from 38% in 2005 to 45.06%, with per capita park area at 18.21 square meters—ranking first among the second-ring districts of Chengdu in per capita green space; forest coverage has reached 35%.
