The Qingbaijiang District Museum of Chengdu is located at No. 28 Qifeng Road, Danan Street, Qingbaijiang District (next to Tianyuan Square), with a construction area of 5,417 square meters and an exhibition area of approximately 3,500 square meters. It officially opened to the public free of charge in October 2013, with an annual opening period of over 300 days and an average annual visitor count of over 100,000.

The Qingbaijiang Museum exhibits a total of more than 600 sets of fine cultural relics, including 203 sets of precious relics. These include the largest bronze horse unearthed from the same period in China—a national first-class relic—as well as uniquely shaped tiger-bear-dragon-phoenix pedestals, ancient Shu bronzeware, and Song Dynasty kiln storage porcelain, among other cultural highlights. The museum features permanent exhibitions such as the “Qingbaijiang Historical and Cultural Display” and the “Zhao Bian Integrity Culture Special Exhibition.” The Qingbaijiang Historical and Cultural Display combines a comprehensive historical exhibition with scene-based displays to present the district’s developmental timeline spanning approximately 4,500 years—from the Baodun Culture period to the new era of the 21st century.

The Qingbaijiang Museum actively utilizes local resources to host a variety of distinctive temporary exhibitions for the public free of charge, meeting the diverse cultural needs of the community. In addition, the museum has established the social education brand “Charming Museum – The 518 Cultural Benefit Project,” regularly organizing activities such as “Mobile Museum Goes to Grassroots,” the “Xiuchuan Lecture Series,” and on-site historical and cultural teaching sessions, benefiting hundreds of thousands of people both within and outside the district.

The Qingbaijiang Museum currently serves as the “Qingbaijiang Research Base of the Sichuan Provincial Clean Government Construction Research Center,” the “Qingbaijiang District Clean Government Education Base of Chengdu,” the “Chengdu Science Popularization Base,” and the “Chengdu Social Science Popularization Base.” It has received honors such as the 2019 Sichuan Provincial Excellent Museum Exhibition Award and the 2014 Chengdu Top Ten “My Favorite Museum” award.
