Egret Island Wetland Park

Egret Island Birdsong: Also known as Egret Island Wetland Park, it is characterized mainly by ecological conservation, wetland sightseeing, and preserving green spaces, covering an area of approximately 1.2 square kilometers. The park is planned with a "one belt, four zones" structure. The one belt refers to the Dingjia Weir Scenic Recreational Belt (a natural buffer zone). The four zones are: the Reed Forest Egret Habitat Zone (core protection zone); the Riverside Fruit Grove Recreational Zone (buffer control zone); the Waterfront Farmland Sightseeing Zone (buffer control zone); and the Lakeside Leisure & Culture Zone (coordinated development zone). The area features undulating hills, flocks of egrets, and farmland all around, with the meandering Yufeng River converging here into a lake, evoking the idyllic scenery described by Wang Anshi: “A stream guards the fields, encircling them in green; two hills push open the gate and send in the blue.”
