With the opening of the Banqiao–Nangang MRT Line and the ongoing development of the Sanying and Wanda Lines, improved transportation infrastructure has driven the continuous growth of Tucheng, making it an increasingly livable city where families can settle and thrive. For a fun-filled day of parent-child bonding, hop on the Banqiao–Nangang MRT Line to Tucheng and enjoy a delightful mini getaway.
The highly popular Zhanshan Mountain Ruins Cultural Park, located near Tucheng Station, officially opened in June this year. Combining green park space with archaeological heritage, the park not only features informational signs that explain the cultural significance of the Zhanshan ruins but also offers fun facilities such as a terrazzo slide and a sandbox. The timed water fountain is especially popular among visitors. When it's time to rest, families can have a picnic on the lawn or enjoy performances. Since its opening, it has become a top family-friendly destination.
In addition to existing attractions like the Black Sesame & Small Couple Nougat Museum, Shinewon Creative Mochi Culture Museum, and Wangding Time Science & Art Experience Center, the New Taipei City Department of Economic Development has successfully supported the St. Marie Danish Bread Manor Tourist Factory, located near Dingpu MRT Station. In addition to a visitor corridor showcasing the production lines for bread and cakes, the factory also features a VR processing zone where visitors can experience the production line up close from a first-person perspective, combining fun and education. The spacious four-story facility also offers DIY parent-child baking workshops and interactive photo zones. Children who sign up for DIY sessions can even wear chef uniforms to bake cakes. Courses are available for both on-site registration and online booking. In the future, Dingpu Station, which will be the starting point of the Sanying Line, is expected to intersect with the Banqiao–Nangang Line, further driving foot traffic and development.
According to the Tucheng District Office, there are currently four MRT stations in the Tucheng area. On regular days, those looking to connect with nature can explore the Chengtian Zen Temple and Tung Blossom Park.
