With the Lunar New Year holiday approaching, Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation (TRTC) announced that on New Year’s Eve (Jan. 24), the Children’s Amusement Park, Maokong Gondola, and Taipei Arena Ice Rink will all be temporarily closed. During the holiday period, average train intervals on the Tamsui, Xindian, Zhonghe, and Banqiao lines will be about 5 to 10 minutes, with additional services added flexibly depending on passenger flow.

TRTC noted that the seven-day Lunar New Year holiday runs from Thursday, Jan. 23 to Wednesday, Jan. 29. Train intervals will be adjusted flexibly based on passenger demand. Additionally, except for stations on the Wenhu Line, as well as Tamsui, Taipei Main, Zhongxiao Xinsheng, Zhongshan, Da’an, Zhongxiao Fuxing, and Nanjing Fuxing stations, bicycles will be allowed at all other stations.

The Children’s Amusement Park, National Science and Technology Museum, and Taipei Astronomical Museum have been integrated into the “Taipei Science and Art Park.” During the winter vacation, they are offering a joint passport called “Spring Tour of Three Museums – Fun Beyond Compare” at a half-price discount of NT$199.
