Hongyadong is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Hongyadong is situated in the core commercial district of Chongqing, along Cangbai Street in the Binjiang area where the Yangtze River and the Jialing River meet. It integrates urban tourism, business and leisure experiences, as well as local cultural heritage. Featuring the iconic stilt-house architecture traditional to the Bashu region, the complex is built along the mountain slope and riverside, providing direct access from Jiefangbei to the riverfront. Visitors can admire the cluster of stilt houses, enjoy the lush greenery cascading from Hongya Cliff, stroll through the old mountain city streets, experience Bashu culture, savor local hotpot, watch the two rivers converge, taste world-class cuisine, and immerse themselves in a vibrant nightlife entertainment destination.

Hongyadong is located in the Binjiang area at the confluence of Cangbai Street, the Yangtze River, and the Jialing River in Chongqing. Characterized by the traditional stilt-house architecture of the Bashu region, it follows the natural mountain and riverside topography, creating a direct link from Jiefangbei to the river.

The overall commercial layout of Hongyadong is divided into four main streets: Zhishaihe Bar Street, Tiancheng Lane Bashu Culture Street, Shengyan Food Street, and the Exotic City Terrace. Each of these streets incorporates a variety of contemporary trends, including internationally renowned bars such as the global pirate-themed bar chain, not only leading a new era of entertainment in Chongqing but also setting new standards for the city’s nightlife.

Tiancheng Lane Bashu Culture Street showcases a fashion trend distinct from the ordinary, presenting the grandeur of Bashu 2,300 years ago. It features classical residential buildings adorned with blue bricks, stone tiles, red eaves, and green roof tiles that were prevalent in that era, as well as time-honored “folk craft workshops” that once operated with the traditional front-shop-back-factory layout.

The Exotic City Terrace will attract attention as the largest urban transportation hub in Chongqing. Once completed, the parking lot at Hongyadong’s City Terrace will accommodate 30–40 vehicles simultaneously. Visitors heading to Jiefangbei or staying to explore Hongyadong can take escalators or sightseeing elevators directly to Jiefangbei or to any floor within Hongyadong.
