Shanglin Hetian Agrarian Culture Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Shanglin Hetian Agrarian Culture Park is located beside Mingcheng Avenue in Shanglin County, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, approximately 80 kilometers from Nanning. It currently covers an area of 1,200 acres, featuring a beautiful environment and a well-preserved agricultural ecosystem. A branch of the Damiao River runs through the park, providing clean and unpolluted water. The farmland is flat and expansive, making it an ideal place for agricultural production. The landscape is complemented by ponds and streams, showcasing the beauty of a rural mountain-water scenery.

We are committed to creating ecological agricultural landscapes and fostering a leisurely atmosphere, including features such as the Small Farming Garden, Colorful Lotus Fields, One Taste Tea House, and specialty farm restaurants. Visitors can join farmers in various agricultural activities, experiencing the joy of rural life and reconnecting with nature.

Fruit Tree Demonstration Area

Utilizing micro-irrigation technology, this area demonstrates the cultivation of high-value fruit trees from Taiwan using water- and energy-saving methods, in response to increasingly scarce water resources. Featured fruit trees include jujube, mulberry, and perfumed lemons—all known for their high economic returns—allowing farmers to observe cultivation techniques firsthand.

Pitaya (Dragon Fruit) Demonstration Area

Pitaya, native to Central America, is one of the renowned fruits of tropical and subtropical regions. It later spread to Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam and Thailand, as well as Taiwan Province of China. It is now also introduced and trial-planted in provinces like Hainan, Guangxi, Guangdong, and Fujian on the Chinese mainland. Pitaya is highly nutritious and unique in function, containing plant-based albumin and anthocyanins—rare in most plants—as well as abundant vitamins and water-soluble dietary fiber. Its oval shape ranges from 10 to 12 cm in diameter, with red or yellow skin and green triangular leaf-like protrusions. The flesh is white, red, or yellow, dotted with black seeds. It has a cooling nature. Under natural conditions, the fruit ripens in summer and autumn, offering a sweet and juicy taste. The pitayas grown in the park are introduced from Taiwan and cultivated with integrated water and fertilizer systems as a demonstration.

Colorful Lotus Fields

The Colorful Lotus Fields serve as a functional representation of the “lotus” culture within the demonstration area and are one of the park’s key spots for leisure, entertainment, and photography.

Covering 100 acres, the Colorful Lotus Fields are located in the low-lying area in the central-northern part of the demonstration zone. Shallow ponds are created by building embankments to retain water, where aquatic plants such as lotus roots are grown using shallow-water planting techniques. Different varieties blooming at different times and in varying colors are planted in designated zones, combining ornamental and edible species. Lotus roots can be harvested in autumn and winter, while lotus flowers can be admired year-round. Additionally, a waterside scenic street is built around the fields, providing areas for visitors to rest, dine, and enjoy recreational activities.

Eco Model House

Designed in line with the green and environmentally friendly lifestyle, this is a product of modern innovation. The interior maintains a comfortable temperature without extremes and a humidity level around 50%. Building materials and furniture are free from toxic substances or pathogens. The model house offers a quiet environment with no noise pollution.

Small Farming Garden

Each household is allocated 3 to 5 acres of farmland, along with a 90 m² farming cottage, providing long-term opportunities for farming leisure experiences. Guests can enjoy a vacation-style life blending farming and reading, unwind, free their minds, and reconnect with nature. It allows urban-raised children to understand rural life and the concept of protecting nature.

Lessees can act as operators of their farming plots, deciding on processes such as sowing, watering, fertilizing, harvesting, selling, or processing for personal consumption. If lessees are unable to manage the land for extended periods, they may opt for delegated management, making remote decisions about the farming process online. Upon harvest, the park will deliver the produce to the lessees’ homes via express delivery, ensuring peace of mind in every bite.

One Taste Tea House

Built on a 150 square meter site by the pond, the Tea House integrates naturally with the water and mainly serves locally grown wild black tea from Shanglin along with pure natural agricultural products. It is an ideal spot for visitors to enjoy the view, sip tea, relax, and socialize.

One Taste Farmhouse

With a planned construction area of 500 square meters, the restaurant includes a main dining hall, booth seating, and private rooms, capable of accommodating 200 guests simultaneously. The farmhouse restaurant emphasizes local and rustic flavors, highlighting characteristic produce from Shanglin and the demonstration area. Traditional cooking methods are used to maintain authentic tastes, served with simple and rustic tableware. It offers natural, unpretentious, and eco-friendly rural cuisine that aligns with the current trend among tourists who value nature, tradition, and health-conscious dining.

Rare Trees Scenic Area

The Rare Trees Scenic Area is a key component of the “tree” culture within our Hetian Agrarian Culture Park demonstration zone. It serves as both a concentrated display area for rare tree species and a production site for valuable tree saplings. Covering 300 acres, the area is planted with precious species such as small-leaf red sandalwood, teak, rosewood, dalbergia odorifera, yew, podocarpus macrophyllus, and huanghuali. The scenic area also features winding paths that follow the terrain, facilitating leisure activities in close connection with nature.
