Damingshan Wangu Tea Plantation

The Wangu Tea Plantation is affiliated with the state-owned Damingshan Farm of Guangxi Nongken and is located in Wangu Village, Mingliang Town. It is 12 kilometers from Shanglin County and 78 kilometers from Nanning City. Bus Route 9 within the plantation provides direct access to Shanglin County. Covering an area of 900 mu, the plantation includes 600 mu of organic tea fields, 100 mu of forested hills and wasteland, and another 200 mu. Over 50 households of employees live on the plantation, with a population of about 170. With a history of 60 years in tea cultivation, the plantation grows premium national tea varieties such as Jin Xuan, Jin Mu Dan, Fuyun No. 6, and Longjing 43. The farm plans to develop a multifunctional agricultural eco-tourism and leisure resort centered around tea culture, featuring organic tea production displays, as well as functions including tea production, sightseeing, leisure vacations, health and sports, science education, and entertainment.
