Fanjiazhuang Scenic Area

Fanjiazhuang is located in Yongjun Village, Dafeng Town, Shanglin County, in the heart of the Damingshan Mountain Range. Nestled within a deep mountain forest at an altitude of over 1,000 meters, the village borders a pristine forest. Around twenty households—the residents of Fanjiazhuang—have lived here for generations. Fanjiazhuang can be called the “Zhangjiajie of Shanglin.” The area is perennially shrouded in mist, with valley cloud seas and towering, majestic trees. Waterfalls are visible everywhere, and there are two contiguous grand slate gorges stretching nearly 2 kilometers in length and nearly 100 meters in width. The ground is entirely covered with uniform large blue flagstones, and the surrounding area also consists of large slabs of stone, creating a uniquely spectacular landscape that is a masterpiece of nature’s craftsmanship. Stepping into Fanjiazhuang is like entering a green corridor—the very source of life.
