Laizui, officially recognized as a “hiking destination,” is a paradise for hikers. It is the village closest to Tianping, a famous scenic spot in Daming Mountain, where the essence of the mountain extends into this small settlement. The area is rich in wild vegetation and dotted with mountain streams, creating numerous beautiful landscapes.

The trail from Laizui Village to Daming Mountain’s Tianping is the preferred hiking route for locals in Shanglin County and hiking enthusiasts. The path passes through vast areas of star anise forests, bayberry woods, and bamboo groves. As hikers make their way up the mountain, they can fully enjoy the valleys and pristine forests of Daming Mountain. A four-hour hike not only provides a good workout but also offers breathtaking views of nature, which is why the area is also known as the “Hiking Destination of Guangxi.”
