The Wangu Tea Garden Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Wangu Tea Garden Scenic Area is situated in Wangu Village, Mingliang Town, Shanglin County, Nanning City, Guangxi, with a total area of more than 2,200 acres. The farm is themed around tea culture and highlights organic tea production displays. It is a comprehensive agricultural eco-tourism and leisure resort integrating tea production, sightseeing, leisure vacations, health and sports, science education, and entertainment, and is recognized as a national AAA-level scenic area.

The Daming Mountain Wangu Tea Garden Scenic Area is under the administration of the Guangxi State Farm’s Daming Mountain Farm. The scenic area is located within Wangu Village, Mingliang Town, Shanglin County, approximately 12 kilometers from downtown Shanglin and 78 kilometers from Nanning City. It is easily accessible via Bus No. 9 directly to Shanglin County, offering very convenient transportation. The area features gently sloping hills, with the highest elevation at 175 meters. It enjoys a South Asian tropical monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 18°C—ideal for human habitation—and is rich in negative oxygen ions, reaching up to 30,000 ions per cubic centimeter, making it a perfect summer retreat in southern China.
