Liuzhou Martyrs' Cemetery is a classic red tourism attraction.

Liuzhou Martyrs' Cemetery is located in the western suburbs of the city, covering an area of 638 mu. The predecessor of Liuzhou Martyrs' Cemetery was the original Yangjiao Mountain Cemetery, which was first built in 1955 at the northern slope of Leitang in Dalongtan Park. In line with the needs of Liuzhou’s urban construction and development, and to provide a better resting place for the martyrs as well as a suitable venue for citizens to carry out patriotic and revolutionary heroism education, the cemetery was relocated in February 1995 to No. 18 Liutai Road, Liuzhou City. Its main section lies on the northeast side of Pengpiling, on Crab Ridge. It consists of several progressively elevated parts including an ecological parking lot, a memorial square, the martyrs’ burial area, and the Revolutionary Heroes Monument. The cemetery has now completed the main structures such as the martyrs’ burial area, the Xinhai Revolution Memorial Area, and the Martyrs’ Monument.

The Revolutionary Heroes Monument of Liuzhou Martyrs' Cemetery is situated on Crab Ridge at an altitude of 150 meters in the western suburbs of Liuzhou City, covering an area of over 5,000 square meters. It was completed in October 2005. The monument faces south and sits to the north, with the memorial square capable of accommodating 2,000 people for various commemorative activities. It outlines the heroic deeds of revolutionary martyrs in their fight for human freedom and liberation, as well as their great contributions during various periods of socialist revolution and construction, in honor of the martyrs, to comfort their loyal spirits, and to inspire future generations.

Liuzhou Martyrs' Cemetery is the final resting place of 454 revolutionary martyrs from the periods of the Xinhai Revolution and socialist construction, among whom 162 are unnamed.

Over the years, with the care and support of the Autonomous Region Department of Civil Affairs, the Liuzhou Municipal People's Government, the Liuzhou Bureau of Civil Affairs, and all sectors of society, Liuzhou Martyrs' Cemetery has achieved remarkable results in comprehensive development. It has become a vivid teaching material and valuable platform for “commemorating the martyrs and educating future generations,” promoting patriotism and revolutionary traditions. In 2002, it was named a Liuzhou Civilized Unit; in 2005, it was recognized as a Liuzhou Green Environmental Education Base and an Advanced Unit in Preferential Treatment Work for the Entire Autonomous Region; in 2007, it was designated as an Autonomous Region Patriotic Education Base and awarded the title of Autonomous Region Model Unit for Patriotic Support of the Military; in 2009, it was named a National Key Martyrs’ Memorial Building Protection Unit.
