The Lai Family Ancestral Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Lai Family Ancestral Temple is located at No. 21, Lai Cuo Ci Qian Street, Lai Cuo Neighborhood Committee, Tuolian Subdistrict, Jinping District, Shantou City, Guangdong Province. It faces southwest from the northeast. Originally built in the year Dinghai of the Ming Dynasty, it was renovated in the 14th year of the Republic of China. The structure has an overall width of 19.8 meters and a total depth of 15.3 meters, covering a site area of 1,044 square meters with a floor area of 303 square meters. It features a “two-courtyard, one-skywell” single-row layout with five-rafter beam lifting on a hard-hipped roof, and is constructed of lime-plastered earth and timber. The Lai Family Ancestral Hall’s architecture incorporates wood carvings and inlaid carving techniques, reflecting characteristic features of Chaoshan-style buildings and holding certain research value for the study of Chaoshan architecture.
