Kyoto’s long-established matcha shop Itoh Kyuemon has introduced a limited-time hydrangea ice cream sundae. Its stunning appearance has attracted many visitors specifically for a taste. The flowers are made from colorful jelly, paired with the shop’s signature matcha cookies, and topped with uniquely textured matcha jelly—perfect for enjoying in the summer.
