The Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum Line launched on July 9, stopping at 15 popular Chiayi attractions including the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum, Ban Tao Yao, Xingang Fengtian Temple, and Jingpu Cat World. It offers a transportation ticket for just NT$100 that can be used up to four times without being limited to the day of purchase, providing a more convenient and affordable way to explore Chiayi.

The Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum Line spans fifty kilometers, running in both directions, with a one-way trip taking ninety minutes. It connects three major transportation hubs—the Chiayi HSR Station, Minxiong Railway Station, and Chiayi TRA Station—as well as twelve attractions: the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum, Suantou Sugar Refinery Cultural Park, Ban Tao Yao, Ding Cai Yuan, Xingang Fengtian Temple, Jingpu Cat World, National Chung Cheng University, Kumquat Farm, Wanglaishan, Matsuda Heights Leisure Farm, Minxiong Industrial Area Service Center, and Guiyi Forest Life Village.

The NT$100 transportation ticket for the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum Line is available for purchase starting July 9 at Chiayi Railway Station and the Chiayi County Bus Office. It can be used up to four times without being limited to the day of purchase, and also offers special discounts from over 40 partner merchants. From mid-July, tickets for the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum Line can also be purchased online via the nationwide 7-Eleven ibon ticketing system and through travel agency platforms.
