The Living Room by Hyatt, under the Hyatt Group, grandly opened on the evening of the 27th in Taipei’s Xinyi District. The launch event was attended by numerous celebrities and distinguished guests. The opening ceremony was presided over by Legislative Yuan President Wang Jin-pyng, Tourism Bureau Director-General Shen Wei-chun, Hyatt Group founder Cai Chen-yang, and Hyatt Space Chairman Lai Ying-li, who unveiled the hotel’s launch with a glowing diamond symbolizing its “Diamond-Level Green Building Certification,” marking a spectacular inauguration,This also makes the Hyatt Group the only company in Xinyi District to own two hotel brands, and positions the property to target Asian business travelers in this prime location.

The Living Room by Hyatt stated that the hotel adopts a design concept centered around minimalism and contemporary aesthetics, creating an image of a “garden within the city” and offering a refined and spacious ambiance.Nearly 50% of the building materials used in the hotel are green, and the design features floor-to-ceiling transparent windows that make clever use of natural light. Other eco-friendly features include energy-saving lighting, water-saving certified fixtures, and energy-efficient air conditioning. The hotel has also planned a rooftop garden on the sixth floor and a large outdoor green space on the seventh floor. It has been officially certified by the Ministry of the Interior as a “Diamond-Level Green Building.”.
