The Hu Wenhu Building is a cultural heritage site protected by Shantou City.
is a historic and iconic landmark in Shantou's old urban area, located on Minzu Road in the city center. It was once the tallest building in Shantou. Hu Wenhu built the Hu Wenhu Building and invested in establishing the Yong'an Hall Pharmaceutical Factory here. Tiger Balm, a widely known and effective medicine, has been renowned in dozens of countries for nearly a century. The image on the back of its product packaging is none other than this Hu Wenhu Building in Shantou.
