The former site of the Senior Assistant Commissioner’s Residence of the Swatow Customs is located at No. 12 Nanhai Road, Jinping District. Dating back to the Republican era, it is categorized as an important modern historical site and representative architecture.
On March 22, 2010, the former site of the Senior Assistant Commissioner’s Residence of the Swatow Customs was designated as a municipal cultural relics protection unit of Shantou.
