The "Mirror Water and Cloudy Hills" beneath the Hall of the Heavenly Emperor features a plaque inscribed with the character "金山" (Golden Hill) by Emperor Kangxi above the main gate. It is surrounded by winding corridors on both sides, with exquisitely delicate architecture arranged in a well-balanced layout. Introduction

Situated on the eastern side of Cheng Lake, it is modeled after the scenery of Golden Hill in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu. The hill is surrounded by the lake on three sides and a stream on one, showcasing the picturesque style of the Jiangnan water region. The Hall of Heavenly Expansion, located to the north of the main hall, is the highest point in the lake area of the resort. The Hall of the Heavenly Emperor, positioned at the summit, stands as the loftiest spot in the lake district of the imperial garden and originally housed statues of the True Martial Emperor and the Jade Emperor. This three-story pavilion offers commanding views.
