The Huang Clan Ancestral Hall Complex in Lishan Village is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Guangdong Province.

The Huang Clan Ancestral Hall Complex in Lishan Village (including the Grand Huang Ancestral Hall, the Yuxuan Huang Ancestral Hall, and the Eminent Huang Ancestral Hall) is situated in Lishan Village, Qianwu Town, Doumen District, Zhuhai City. The three halls are aligned from north to south and stand side by side from east to west: the Yuxuan Huang Ancestral Hall, the Grand Huang Ancestral Hall, and the Eminent Huang Ancestral Hall. All are large-scale buildings constructed in the Qing Dynasty style, with a total area of 1,667 square meters. They were successively built between the Tongzhi and Guangxu Bingzi years (approximately 1862–1876), upon the initiative of descendants of the Huang clan in the village, as well as Tongzhi-era imperial examination graduate Huang Huaisen and his elder brother De sen. The architectural layout of each hall features a three-courtyard configuration with connecting corridors and a central courtyard, each with three bays in width and depth. The structures have stone bases, gray brick walls, flush-gable roofs, post-and-lintel wooden frameworks, and green-glazed roof tiles with drip tiles.

The complex has a majestic presence, with various decorative elements such as stone carvings, wood carvings, brick carvings, and plaster reliefs preserved both inside and outside the halls. Among them, six uniquely expressive stone lions placed in front of the halls are particularly exquisite. The Grand Huang Ancestral Hall largely retains its original architectural layout, exemplifying typical Lingnan architectural style. At the same time, it is a cultural landscape rich in regional character, embodying a wealth of historical information and cultural significance.

The Grand Huang Ancestral Hall and the Eminent Huang Ancestral Hall complex were initially built in the mid-Ming Dynasty and have a history of over 500 years. In the late Qing Dynasty (1889), top imperial scholars Huang Huaisen and his brother Huang Desen organized renovations. This group of ancestral halls features a three-courtyard, two-compound structure, with a total land area of 4,870 square meters and a total floor space of 2,122 square meters.

As one of the ancient buildings in the Doumen area that has retained its original appearance relatively intact, it holds certain historical, artistic, and scientific value. It was designated and announced as a cultural heritage site under the protection of Doumen District in 2008, as a cultural heritage site under the protection of Zhuhai City in 2011, and as a cultural heritage site under the protection of Guangdong Province in 2015.

Lishan Village: Lishan Village is located in the western part of Qianwu Town, bordering Zhufeng Avenue to the south and the Fushan Industrial Park and Xincheng Avenue to the west. The total area of the village is 12 square kilometers. It currently has 6,012 mu of arable land, including 423 mu of paddy fields, 3,959 mu of fish ponds, and 1,630 mu of other areas (flowers, fruit trees, bananas, and other cash crops). The village has a permanent population of 10,680 people across 2,275 households, including 4,680 registered residents and 6,000 non-registered residents.
