● Paris Tour Triangle

Since the construction of the 59-story Montparnasse Tower in Paris in 1973, no skyscraper over 100 meters has been built. Now, the Tour Triangle, set to be completed in 2018, will become Paris’s new landmark after more than 40 years. With 42 floors and a height of 180 meters, it will be the city’s fourth tallest building. It will house a 120-room luxury hotel, restaurants, shared offices, cultural spaces, and even a kindergarten.

● Manila Century Spire

In Manila, Philippines, the imposing Century Spire continues construction. The entire building features a glass high-rise design, with its upper section split into branches, forming an asymmetrical crown at varying heights and angles. This 245-meter-tall tower is expected to be completed in 2018, with some floors designated for residential use.

● Zhuhai

Located at the confluence of two rivers in Doumen District, a landscape tower inspired by a fish leaping out of water is rising. This 93-meter-high tower is wrapped in aluminum panels resembling fish scales to shield against the intense southern Chinese sun. Upon completion, the base will feature retail spaces, the middle section will serve as visitor experience areas, and the top will house a 360-degree observation deck.

● Seoul Dancing Dragon

The Dancing Dragon twin towers are the latest additions to Seoul’s Yongsan International Business District project, which plans to build 15 structures. The towers stand 450 meters and 390 meters tall, respectively, with facades featuring a special layered structure that mimics dragon scales while also enhancing air circulation. Below the towers, there will be glass platforms, a sunken garden, and an underground shopping mall. The complex will combine residential, commercial, and retail functions.
