Along the Balilian River lies what is claimed to be the longest ecological trail in New Taipei City – the Balilian Ecological Trail. Travelers can go stream tracing here, surrounded by overlapping green mountains and trees, with crystal-clear streams and a picturesque waterwheel ecosystem embraced by the mountains. It has become the most distinctive tourist resource in the Sanzhi area.

Sanzhi Tianxinzǐ is located along Kuirou Mountain Road, at the 4.5K mark of County Road 8 to the north. Many visitors have been left in awe after their trip, and it has even been praised by netizens as an advanced version of Shuizhongyāng, attracting many to take photos and check in, sparking a huge response.

As you arrive at Hengshan Terraced Fields, a vast expanse of rural scenery greets you. This is the home of Sanzhi’s famous hanging bamboo shoots, which have become a well-known local delicacy. The terraced fields, winding along the mountain slopes, form a layered landscape. Coupled with the crisscrossing roads and rivers, they create a beautifully geometric scene.
