Jiulong Lake Scenic Area is located in Fenghuang Town, Dinghu District, Zhaoqing City. The area features a diverse range of natural ecosystems, including forest, lake, wetland, and agricultural ecosystems, making it a true showcase of natural ecology.

“A lake of emerald water, ten streams converging, hundreds of birds singing, thousands of acres of forest, and tens of thousands of acres of water surface” is a comprehensive depiction of Jiulong Lake Scenic Area.

Jiulong Lake Scenic Area is divided into two main parts: the Central Scenic Area and the Fenghuang Wetland Forest Park.

Jiulong Lake Scenic Area is a comprehensive destination where visitors can explore valley rainforests, lakes, Hakka ecological villages, and wetland forest parks, as well as enjoy dining, accommodation, conferences, and outdoor team-building activities. It’s an ideal place for sightseeing, vacationing, meetings, training, and outing.

The Central Scenic Area offers a series of training programs, including outdoor rock climbing, heavenly stream rappelling, deserted island survival, underwater lake cable descent, Niugui Lane stream tracing, crossing the line of life and death, self-drive off-roading, blindfold challenges, and “The Days We Walked Together.”

The landscapes of Jiulong Lake have nurtured many notable figures from the Dinghu region, such as Su Tingkui, former Viceroy of the Two Lakes; Wu Dayou, known as the Father of Physics; and Hong Kong-Macao celebrities Su Yaozu and Xie Zhaohong.

Different seasons create four major landscapes at Jiulong Lake: vibrant greens in spring, cool mountain springs in summer, splendid mountain views in autumn, and mystical fog in winter. In spring, various plants come alive with different shades of green, complemented by colorful mountain flowers, creating a vibrant and romantic atmosphere. In summer, crystal-clear mountain springs offer a refreshing chill, perfect for playing in streams or swimming in natural pools. In autumn, with clear skies and crisp air, climbing Wanglong Ridge or Tienshen Peak reveals nine mountain ranges encircling Jiulong Lake—its waters reflecting the peaks as if nine dragons are playing in the water, a spectacular sight. In winter, as the sun rises, warm sunlight warms the lake, causing various forms of white mist to dance on the surface, creating a fairy-tale-like scene.
