Bixia Mountain is located in Xiyingzi Village, Chanshangyu Town, approximately 9 kilometers from Luanping County. It has undergone preliminary development. The area features a dramatic landscape of oddly-shaped rocks, steep mountain cliffs, natural gorges, cliffside boardwalks, caves, karst formations, drifting clouds, secluded paths, and rolling mountains—representing a classic example of Jurassic Danxia landform.

Stepping into Bixia Mountain, you’ll find blooming wildflowers in early spring, emerald waters and lush greenery in summer, vibrant red foliage in late autumn, and snow-covered glaciers in winter. The area boasts numerous scenic spots including Seven Maidens Peak, Winding Path Gorge, Sun-Moon Gorge, General Stone, Number One Scholar’s Brush, Turtle Stone, Heavenly Pigeon Cave, Stairway to Heaven, Ancient Plank Roads, Sky Well, Sky Bridge, Garden Garden, Danxia Lake, and Crimson Cloud Lake. Truly, there is scenery everywhere, and every scene is picturesque—combining elements of awe, danger, wonder, uniqueness, and beauty all in one.
