Qishi Valley is located in Wangpingshi Village, Xinglong County, Hebei Province, situated within the “Houlong Fengshui Treasure Land” of the Eastern Qing Tombs. To the west, it is close to Xinglong County

The name Qishi Valley comes from its extraordinary rocks. These unique stones were formed from the granite mountain ranges uplifted during the Yanshan orogeny, which were then shaped over hundreds of millions of years by wind erosion
