Kuancheng Xiantai Mountain

Xiantai Mountain is located in Xigou Village, Tashan Township, Kuancheng County. The mountain has a cubic shape, and there is only one tourist road leading to the summit, which is flat and spacious. In the northwest of the summit stands a thousand-year-old pine tree, beneath which lies a large flat rock. Legend has it that immortals once played chess on this rock, hence the name Xiantai Mountain, meaning "Immortal's Terrace." The main peak of Xiantai Mountain has an elevation of 1,004 meters. The mountain features nearly 3,000 acres of pristine secondary forest with lush vegetation. In the golden autumn, leaves in red, yellow, and green reflect off each other across the mountain, creating a vibrant tapestry of fall colors.

At the summit, there is a Bagua (Eight Trigrams) Square, along with dining and accommodation facilities such as thatched cottages, wooden cabins, and yurts, as well as recreational amenities like hammocks and swings. The mountain is dotted with many uniquely shaped rocks—some resembling the jade vase held by Guanyin (the Goddess of Mercy), others like galloping horses—each vivid and lifelike. From the summit, the county town can be faintly seen below. Gazing out at Panlong Lake, its waters appear like a piece of emerald embedded among the undulating mountains. The surrounding peaks are steep and dramatic, stretching as far as the eye can see, creating a vast and serene landscape that is truly uplifting. It is an ideal destination for leisure and vacation.
