Pingquan Mosque is a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit of Hebei Province.

Pingquan Mosque is located in Pingquan Town, Pingquan County, and is an ancient Qing Dynasty building. On February 7, 2001, Pingquan Mosque was designated as a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit by the People’s Government of Hebei Province.

Pingquan Town: Pingquan Town is located in the central part of Pingquan City, Hebei Province. The town covers a total area of 224.6 square kilometers, with an urban area of 20.2 square kilometers. It governs 29 administrative villages, has a population of 50,100, arable land area of 34,000 mu, and achieved a fiscal revenue of 782 million yuan in 2018. The per capita income of farmers reached 11,588 yuan.

Pingquan Town is an important transportation hub connecting inland and coastal areas, as well as linking North China and Northeast China. Major transportation arteries such as the Chengde-Jinzhou Railway, National Highway “101”, “Pingtie Line”, “Chengchao Expressway”, and the “Beijing-Shenyang High-Speed Railway” (scheduled to start construction within the year) run through the town...
